Action Plan: State Budget

State-BudgetThe creation of a special commission to review state tax policies and develop recommendations for a fair system that fosters economic growth is among several positive steps adopted to address the state’s budget deficit and fiscal issues.

CT20x17 proposes a series of short and long-term policy recommendations, including tax policies that encourage investment and drive job growth, balancing the state’s budget without increasing fees and taxes, addressing unfunded liabilities, and making government agencies more efficient.

Acting on these and other proposals will give Connecticut the best chance to be a leader in economic growth and opportunity.
